Description
Pond House Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of pale brown brick in Flemish bond, featuring a stone plinth and quoins. The building has stepped and dentilled eaves at the rear and a Welsh slate roof with stone verges and shaped kneelers, along with end chimneys. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance includes a reproduction wooden doorcase, a six-panel door, and a fanlight. The windows are late 19th-century sashes set in flush wood architraves. Inside, there is a rebuilt staircase that incorporates 18th-century balusters, a round arched corner cupboard with a wooden architrave and key, and one solid chamfered beam with tongued stops. The roof structure features two levels of butt purlins with stout collars.
