Description
Dale House Barn is a former threshing barn, now used for storage, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed cobbles and features brick slit vents. There are early to mid-19th century additions in local brick, including raised eaves, quoins, and the arch and jambs of the wagon door. The barn has a pantile roof with stone coping and consists of 7 bays, with opposed wagon doors. Inside, it has king-post trusses and thin scantlings.
