Description
The building is a former threshing barn, now used as a hay barn, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of reddish brown local brick and features slit vents. The eaves are stepped and dentilled, and there is a cobble plinth. The roof is made of pantiles with two courses of stone slates at the eaves, along with stone copings and kneelers. The barn has a north aisle and opposed wagon doors, as well as a pitching door on the east gable end. Inside, there are stout jowled posts with short braces, along with two levels of purlins, a tie beam, and a collar beam.
