Description
33 and 34 Market Place is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high. It has a rough rendered exterior with rusticated quoins and a pantile roof featuring coped gable ends. The upper floor has two windows set in moulded surrounds, which do not have glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 15 and 16, 16A, 17 to 23 (consecutive), 33 to 38 (consecutive), and St George's House, along with Nos 40 to 48 (consecutive). Notably, Nos 16, 17, 19, 23, 25, 35, 36, 38, and 47 and 48 are recognized as buildings of local interest.
