Description

This building, formerly known as Bassetts, is located on the north side of Main Street, opposite numbers 4 and 5. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and is constructed of sandstone rubble faced with herringbone-tooled ashlar. The roof is covered with pantiles. The house has two storeys and features two first-floor windows. There is a glazed door situated to the right of the centre. Throughout the building, there are casement windows beneath keyed stone lintels. The gable has coping, with shaped kneelers and end stacks. This house is included for its group value.
