Description

The former Methodist Chapel, dated 1830, is constructed from squared, snecked rubble with margined quoins on a plinth course. It features a graduated slate roof with stone-flagged eaves and an apex cross at the west end. The chapel has a symmetrical single-storey, three-bay front, which includes a central vertically split panelled door set in a chamfered surround. On either side of the door are single windows with glazing bars in stone surrounds, and there are two similar windows in the west wall. Above the door is a panel with a moulded frame that bears the inscription: "Wesleyan Methodist CHAPEL Erected AD 1830."
