Description
This is a bank barn, which includes a cottage and byre, located to the south of Acorn Bank Mill. It was built in the early to mid-19th century and is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and boulders, featuring quoins. The roof is made of graduated slate.
The barn has a large central wagon door, with a small cottage door to the left that is accessed by steps, and a window situated above it. At the rear, there is a byre door and a partially blocked small wagon door on the ground floor, along with a small barn door and two cottage windows positioned above. All of the doors have segmental heads.
