Description

Monument View is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble stone with quoins at the south end. The roof is of graduated stone flags, and a brick chimney is positioned centrally and shared with the adjacent property to the north. The two-bay front is three stories high and features a single sash window to the right of the steps that lead to a panelled front door on the first floor. A single sash window is located above. The property is fronted by cast iron railings with a central gate, and the gate standards have double fleur-de-lis heads.
