A single-storey stone porch with an embattled parapet occupies the angle with the left-hand wing, and a slated timber verandah extends across the front of the house to the right, carried on turned tapering timber columns, each capped by 2 cornice mouldings. Below the verandah there is a window. The windows are timber casements, and all the bargeboards are plain. Below the apex of the left-hand wing is a plaque inscribed: 'CDW 1890'.
