Description
Rock Cottage Surgery is a building that likely dates from the early 18th century and serves as a workshop, house, and surgery. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. Number 49, which may have originally been a three-bay barn, includes a barn entrance with paired doors and a drip course. To the right, there is a casement window alongside a door, all under a Welsh slate roof. Number 51 has sashed windows with single glazing bars and horns; the first-floor windows have gablets, while the first bay of the ground floor features a small window with small-paned glazing. The gable-end stack is also notable. The surgery section has a window with a small-paned pivoted casement, and the return side includes a large small-paned pivoted casement that lights both floors, along with an entrance.
