Description
The Methodist Church, built in 1872, is designed in the Italianate style. It features coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a slate roof. The building includes rusticated quoin pilasters and decorative bands. It stands two storeys tall with a three-bay front and seven-bay side elevations. The windows on the lower level are square-headed, while those above are semi-circular headed. The central bay is framed by pilasters, and there is a two-door portal below that has a Corinthian surround. Above this, a triple arched window is present, with the center arch being double. The church is topped with a pediment that includes a central oculus. Inside, there is a plain galleried interior.
