Description

Glen Cottage Hotel is a building dating from the 17th to 18th century that has been altered. It is stuccoed over stone and features a slate roof that is hipped at the corner to Middlegate. The building has two low storeys. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century bay windows, a new doorway, and a blocked doorway. Above, there are three sash windows. The right-hand return side includes a large glazed addition on the ground floor and three sash windows above. Inside, there are low ceiling beams, and the exterior is adorned with sandstone chimney stacks.
