Description
The Former United Reformed Church, now converted into apartments, was built in 1865. It is constructed of coursed red sandstone rubble and has slate roofs, showcasing a decorated style. The building features a prominent gable facing the street, which includes a large geometric traceried window above a double doorway. There is a two-stage tower topped with a belfry stage and a small broach spire. To the right, a two-storey wing displays a tripled window feature on each floor. This building is a notable landmark in this part of Penrith.
