Description

The gate piers and wall located south-east of West Lodge were built in the 1830s by George Webster for the Musgrave family. Constructed from calciferous sandstone ashlar, the structure features two square piers that have alternate-rusticated blocks and shaped caps. These piers are flanked by high walls and end with plain ashlar piers. The gate piers and wall are listed for their group value with West Lodge.
