Description
Mealriggs Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1819, constructed from coursed rubble with quoins and plaster dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a small gabled wing on the east side. The south elevation features plaster surrounds around the windows, which are sashed with glazing bars, and the entrance, which has the date displayed in an oval panel on the lintel above a half-glazed door with an overlight. There are stone gutter brackets and gable-end stacks. The wing includes a sashed window with some glazing bars. The north elevation has two small windows on each floor, also sashed with glazing bars, along with the entrance to the wing.
