Description
Glebe Cottage and the attached outbuilding are a house and outbuilding that likely date from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with later additions. The structure is built from stone rubble and has a slate roof. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with the third bay being wider and an addition. The outbuilding is located to the left. The right-hand end features quoins.
The windows are single-chamfered and mullioned, with three lights on the ground floor and a combination of two, two, and three lights on the first floor. The entrance to the second bay has an open timber gabled porch and a glazed door. There is a gable-end stack and a cross-axial stack. The outbuilding includes an entrance with a large lintel and a pivoted door, as well as a small lean-to outshut with a stone slate roof.
At the rear, there are outshuts under a catslide roof, with the one in the later bay projecting further and featuring a lateral stack. There is a two-light window with leaded glazing, and the right return has a two-light window with a low transom.
