Description

The gatepiers, located approximately 30 meters to the east of Canon Winder Farmhouse, are likely from the 17th century. They are made of ashlar stone set into a stone rubble wall. The ashlar blocks are stepped back at the tops, which feature deep cornices and ball finials. These gatepiers are included for their group value.
