Description

Strand Bridge is a bridge over a drainage ditch, built in 1797, with a later addition. It is constructed from dressed stone and features curved parapets with end piers and flat bands. The north side has a later segmental arched addition that partly covers the datestone, while the south side has a low segmental arch. This bridge is associated with the drainage and enclosure of land in the parish during the late 18th century.
