Description
Evenwood Bridge is a bridge dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with a later addition to the east half. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings. The bridge features a wide segmental arch supported by recessed voussoirs, which holds a parapet that is higher over the center of the arch and has chamfered coping. There is a small segmental flood arch on the south side. A long curved wall on the southeast connects with the parapet along the north side of the road. The west side of the bridge has four triangular buttresses, while the later east side has a battered wall on the south.
