Description

Grize Pool Bridge is a bridge over a drainage ditch, dating from 1781 as indicated by the datestone. It is constructed of dressed stone and features curved parapets with end piers and flat bands. The datestone is located on the south side of the bridge, while the north side has a low segmental arch. To the south side, the ditch is culverted. This bridge is associated with the drainage and enclosure of land in the parish during the late 18th century.
