Description

The railings opposite Cark Manor Cottage in Cark-in-Cartmel date from the early 19th century and extend approximately 90 meters in length. They feature a stone base with end piers made of rusticated stone, which are topped with ogee caps adorned with oak leaves. The iron railings include a design where alternate sections are serpentine in form, with ornamental finials alternating with acorn finials.
