Description

This is a late 18th century to early 19th century bridge over the South Drain, located on Maxey Road in Etton. The bridge is constructed of coursed stone with freestone dressings. It features a single segmental rusticated arch, which includes a keystone adorned with a heart in relief. A string course runs along the structure, and the parapet is topped with plain stone coping. On either side of the bridge to the south, there are stone stiles where the parapet drops to a lower level.
