Description
No. 29 and the entrance to Yard 27 is an 18th-century shop with later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of wet-dashed rubble and features a moulded cast-iron gutter. It has a graduated slate roof and a stone chimney at the west end. The structure stands three storeys high and has two bays. The entrance includes a part-glazed door with an arcaded window to the left, and a 19th-century corniced wooden surround with panelled pilasters. There is a plank door leading to the yard passage on the right and an 18th-century panelled door on the left side within the passage. The building is included for its group value.
