Description
The coach house adjoining New Ing Farmhouse is likely from the mid to late 18th century, when the farmhouse functioned as a coaching inn. It has been subject to later additions and alterations. The structure is built of coursed, squared rubble with quoins and features a hipped, graduated slate roof. It is positioned at a right angle to the north end of the farmhouse and consists of two low storeys with two bays. On the right side, there is a carriage arch that leads to the rear of the house, while on the left, steps lead up to a plank loft door, and there is a stable door in the passage. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
