Description
This is a farmhouse dated 1840, featuring the initials E.S. in the porch pediment. It has undergone later additions and alterations. The building is constructed from lime-washed rubble with quoins and has graduated slate roofs with stone ridges. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay layout. The central door is located in a pedimented porch with moulded jambs, and there are 16-pane sash windows in stone surrounds on either side of the door on both floors. The house has rendered end chimneys. At the west end, there is a single-bay hay loft extension, with an entrance accessed by steps at the rear.
