Description
This building is a bank barn located to the south-east of Foulstone, with a datestone that reads "SBI/ASS/1739". It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof. The gables are coped and have kneelers. The west elevation includes an outshut with a catslide roof at the south end, where the left return has an entrance with a pivoted door accessed by steps. There is an adjacent barn entrance with a segmental head, pivoted doors, and an enriched datestone above. The north gable end has a later lean-to outshut. Both the south gable end and the east elevation feature ventilation holes and slots with dripstones above, as well as entrances. Inside, the barn has collar and tie beam trusses.
