Description
This building is a bank barn located immediately to the north of Flodder Hall, likely dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof. The south elevation includes an outshut at the eastern end with a lean-to roof. There is a central entrance to the barn with a pentice and pivoted doors. The west end has steps leading to a first-floor entrance, and the west gable end features a pentice over a segmental-headed entrance, flanked by windows and ventilation slots in the gable. The north elevation has a large later lean-to outshut. The east gable end has a large entrance under a pentice that leads to a lower level, reflecting the slope of the ground, along with ventilation slots and square holes. The barn is supported by collar and tie beam trusses.
