Description

This is a barn located north-west of Sickergill, dating from the late 18th century. It features coursed red sandstone rubble walls and a graduated slate roof. The barn is two storeys high and has an L-shaped layout with numerous bays. The ground floor includes round-arched cart entrances fitted with plank doors. Other entrances also have round arches and plank doors, and there are slit vents for the loft. External steps lead up to a loft door. The barn is listed partly for its group value with Sickergill.
