Description
The Methodist Church is a late 19th-century building constructed from dressed red sandstone, set on a chamfered plinth. It features a Welsh slate roof topped with a green slate central spire and has stone chimney stacks at either end. The church is a single storey with three bays and a single bay extension to the left. A projecting porch displays a battlemented parapet and a plank door. The windows are designed with chamfered surrounds and sills, featuring trefoil and quatrefoil heads, and there are buttresses between the windows. A modillioned cornice runs along the top. An early 20th-century extension includes a plank door with a lintel inscribed "SCHOOL" and a three-light cross mullioned window with glazing bar casements.
