Description

The Church Hall, formerly a school, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed red sandstone, featuring a chamfered plinth, ashlar quoins, and shaped stone eaves modillions. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has coped gables with kneelers, along with replacement yellow brick chimney stacks. The building is single storey and consists of two bays. There is a gabled porch that includes a plank door and a glazed fanlight with a chamfered surround and pointed arch, topped by a small gable bellcote. The windows are 2-light iron casements with diamond panes and chamfered stone surrounds. There is a filled entrance on the left side. The hall was closed around 1933 and was given to the parish in 1961. It is included for its group value.
