Description

This is a barn dated 1765, located to the west of Low Huddlesceugh. It features the initials C.(&)A.H. (Hardy) above the entrance. The barn is constructed from mixed random rubble sandstone with flush quoins and has a graduated green slate roof. It is a single-storey structure with two bays. The entrance includes a plank door set in a plain stone surround, topped by a dated and inscribed lintel. To the right, there is a cart entrance with a flat arch. This barn is included partly for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
