Description

This is a barn, likely built in the late 18th century, located to the north-west of Hudscales Cottage in Caldbeck. It is constructed from a mix of limestone and cobble rubble and features a graduated greenslate roof. The barn is a single-storey structure with a long, rough L-shape. It has a central cart entrance and three additional plank doors, all of which are topped with wooden lintels. The cart entrance is dated 1895. This barn is listed partly for its group value with Hudscales Cottage.
