Description
Temperance Hall is a cottage that was later used as a Temperance Hall and is now a cottage again. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of roughcast rubble with a slate roof. The building is small, double fronted, and two storeys high. It features a central entrance with a modern panelled door that has some glazed panels, set within a stone architrave topped with a simple cornice. On each floor, there are two non-opening four-pane windows in plain stone architraves. Above the door, there is a wooden board inscribed with 'THE TEMPERANCE HALL'. A ridge stack is located to the left of the building. This structure is included for its group value and local historical interest.
