Description
The hen house and pig sties located to the west of Town Head Farmhouse were built in the mid to late 19th century. They are constructed from squared, snecked rubble with quoins. The building features a single-storey, four-bay front with a lean-to roof made of graduated slate, which has stone coping at the eastern end. On the front, there is a window to the left of three doors, all of which have elliptical heads. The west gable includes two bird-access holes, and the rear wall shows the remains of four bee-boles with triangular heads.
