Description

Pound is possibly an early 19th-century structure that has undergone later alterations. It is built from mixed stone rubble and has a roughly semicircular shape with a straight side to the north. The walls are approximately 1.5 to 2 meters high, and the curved sections mostly feature triangular copings. The straight wall rises at its eastern end, where a small building has been demolished. The entrance gateway, located on the south-west side, includes a stone lintel.
