Description

This is an 18th-century house, possibly built for the Matson family of Tytup Hall in Furness, which has been altered later and is now used as offices. The exterior is incised stucco with rusticated quoins. The roof is slate, with a stone chimney running along the ridge towards the right of the centre, and includes two dormer windows. The building is three storeys high with an attic, and has four bays. A shop front was added in the mid-20th century. The upper floors have four sash windows; the dormer windows are Yorkshire sashes. A decorative lead rainwater head is also present.
