Description

The garage and garden walls to Loaning Foot House are probably from the early 19th century. The walls are located on the south and west sides of the garden and are made of coursed, squared rubble with segmental coping. The gate piers in the center of the south side have pyramidal caps. The west side features a ramp and incorporates the wall of an outbuilding, which is now a garage. This garage is constructed in a similar style, with quoins and a hipped roof covered in graduated slate. These structures are included for their group value.
