Description

Tall rubble sandstone wall encloses Balgownie House garden to S and E; swept at NE. Harling remains in places; ashlar coping stones. Square-plan, corniced, ashlar entrance gatepiers to E. Truncated pyramidal coping stone. Remains of light fitting to S gatepost. Metal gates; timber pedestrian door to S. Wall continues along S bordering roadside. Pair of chamfered, square-plan gatepiers to W; pyramidal coping stone; replacement timber gates. Wall continues northwards along Slate Loan. Cobbled area by W gates.
