Description

This is a barn located to the west of Poplar House, dating from the late 18th century. It features red sandstone rubble walls and a roof made of sandstone slate, which has been repaired with Welsh slate. The barn is large and L-shaped, with a cart entrance that includes a plank door and slit vents. It is listed partly for its group value with Poplar House. The outshuts at the rear have roofs made of Welsh slate and corrugated asbestos, which are not considered of interest.
