Description
This is a barn and attached farm buildings located about 30 metres southeast of Poplar Farm, dating from the early 19th century but incorporating earlier elements. The structure is built from rubble and features double Roman tile roofs with raised coped verges and saddle stones. The barn has a gabled design with hipped cart entries centrally positioned on each side, and the plank doors are still intact. The long lower roadside wing includes a 2-light reserved chamfered mullion casement in the gable end. On the north side, there is an open ground floor supported by square piers, which carry a weatherboarded first floor. The south side is situated right on the road edge and has irregular openings.
