Description
Priory Farmhouse is a house that dates from the mid-17th century, with alterations made around 1700 and late in the 18th century, along with a 20th-century extension and changes at the rear. The exterior features lined out roughcast and ashlar stonework, topped by a slate roof with raised coped verges. The building has two storeys and five windows. The central two windows are ovolo-moulded mullion casements, with a four-light window to the right and a two-light window to the left of a six-panel door. This door is set in a deep chamfered and moulded frame, which is topped by a flat hood supported by brackets. To the right, there are four-light casements with edge-moulded mullions, and at the far right, there is an ashlar solid porch with a flat roof. The two windows to the left are sash windows within moulded architraves. There are plain single-storey wings at either end, featuring an oval pitching eye on the north side. The rear wing has been altered but still retains one three-light and one two-light ovolo-moulded mullion casement, and one dormer window with a moulded frame. The interior has not been inspected.
