111, Warwick Road

No. 111 on Warwick Road is a house that is part of a terrace built in the 1860s. It features Flemish bond brickwork with light headers set on a chamfered plinth, an eaves string, and a bracketed cornice, all made from calciferous sandstone. The roof is covered with graduated slate and includes a central late-19th century gabled dormer and 20th-century skylights. The original ridge brick chimney stacks have been partly reduced. The house has two storeys and three bays. There are steps leading up to a panelled door with an overlight, all framed by a stone architrave with a dentilled cornice. On either side of the door are original canted bay windows topped with shaped parapets. Above, there are sash windows set in eared stone architraves with bracketed sills. The interior has not been inspected. This property appears on the first edition Ordnance Survey map from 1865.
