Description
No. 110 on Briggate is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick in a random bond, topped with a stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays. It features a limestone plinth and quoins on the right side. On the left, there is a six-panel door with an overlight and a wedge lintel. To the right of the door, there are sash windows with glazing bars set in flush wood architraves, also with wedge lintels and projecting stone sills, although these are currently boarded over.
On the first floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars, wedge lintels, and stone sills, with a similar window to the right set approximately two brick courses lower and lacking a lintel. The second floor has three nine-light sash windows with projecting stone sills. A stone eaves band runs along the top of the building, and there is a ridge stack on the right side. The property is currently in a state of disrepair.
