Description
Low Bridge over the River Nidd is a bridge that was rebuilt in 1779. It is constructed of limestone and features two segmental arches. The bridge has cutwaters that are round on the east (downstream) side and pointed on the west (upstream) side. These cutwaters rise as double pilasters, which have widened coping at the level of the flat parapet.
