Description

No. 108 is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of coursed limestone with a Westmorland slate roof. It has two storeys and features one first-floor window, built into a steep uphill slope. On the left side, there is a round-arched opening with voussoirs, and the left side incorporates quoins from the adjacent No. 110. The entrance consists of a 4-panel door with a blocked fanlight. In the centre, there is a 6-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed, set within a thin architrave and topped with a keyed lintel. To the right, there is a 4-pane side-sliding sash window with a keyed lintel and a shallow stone sill. A similar casement window is located on the first floor in the centre. This building is included for its group value.
