Description

The Thorn is a house, formerly a farmhouse, built in the late 18th century. It features English garden wall bond brickwork and a graduated slate roof, along with brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with a two-storey, two-bay extension on the right side that shares the same roof. The entrance is framed by a plain stone surround with a moulded round-headed arch. The windows have flat brick arches and are fitted with sashes that include glazing bars. The front door is a six-panel design with a single-pane fanlight above it. The listing also includes a two-storey extension at the rear, which has a stone-slate roof.
