Description
This is a barn located north of Jenkin's Cross, dating from the early 19th century. It features brick side walls and a whitewashed stone gable wall, all under a graduated greenslate roof. The barn is two storeys high and consists of two bays. There is a central enlarged cart entrance with a loft door above, and the stone-surround openings add to its character. The gable wall has been constructed to match the farmhouse, featuring a false Venetian window beneath a circular vent. The adjoining single-storey byres are not of interest. This barn is included for its group value with Jenkin's Cross.
