Barn Approximately 5 Metres To North East Of Jenkin'S Farm

This barn, located approximately 5 metres to the northeast of Jenkin's Farm, dates from the late 16th century and early 19th century. The front features early 19th century brickwork in Flemish bond, while the rear showcases late 16th century brickwork, which is partly in English bond and partly composed of two header courses, with weatherboarding above. The barn has a slate roof, two diagonal buttresses, and two brick ventilation slits. It includes later casements and has a gabled midstrey on the west elevation. Inside, the barn features a queen post type roof with a ridge piece and two tiers of purlins, including some reused timbers. The tie beams are supported by bolted knees, and there are some rough hewn timbers present.
