Description

Holmhill Farmhouse is a late 17th-century building. Constructed of whitewashed red sandstone on a squared plinth, it features flush quoins, a Welsh slate roof with lower sandstone slates, coped gables with kneelers, and 19th-century brick chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys and five bays wide. The front elevation contains a 4-panel door within a painted architrave. The ground floor has cross-mullioned windows in painted architraves, while the upper floor has a 2-light casement window and a 2-pane sash window, all similarly framed. Adjoining outbuildings are not considered to be of historical interest.
