Description

No. 18 Wood Street is a farmhouse that has been converted into a private house. It dates from the early 18th century and has undergone later alterations. The building features rendered walls set on a red sandstone plinth, topped with a local slate roof and a 19th-century brick chimney stack at the ridge. It is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with a left off-centre 20th-century door in a 20th-century opening. The sash windows have glazing bars, plain reveals, and stone sills. The interior has not been inspected, and part of the facade is obscured by No. 20, which stands directly in front of it.
